January, a month of reflexion and experimenting. One night we got the urge to go to the Warren at low tide for a harvest. It was a new moon, the beginning. We got a variety of species that we used throughout the month for an experimental series of productions, we made pickles with Toothed Wrack, crisp with Bladderwrack, dried and grounded sea lettuce, bread with Laver. This is a lampshade made with old oarweed & toothed wrack that was washed out to the shores.
